AuditShipment parcel audit profile

Reviewed

AuditShipment markets automated parcel audits and recovery to shippers managing parcel accounts. Its pricing is based on credited refunds.

Carrier coverage and recovery workflow

AuditShipment’s plan page explicitly lists UPS, FedEx and DHL invoice audits, automated filing and tracking, and a recovery dashboard. It also links carrier-specific pages for Canada Post, Purolator and Canpar. The published plan list is the starting point for a proposal, while the exact coverage for an additional carrier should be confirmed separately.

The Volume plan lists multi-carrier and multi-account support plus spend and surcharge analytics. Enterprise adds a dedicated specialist and lists custom reporting and API access. A buyer should check whether its account grouping and reporting needs are covered under the tier it is evaluating.

The fee follows the credited refund

AuditShipment states that it charges an agreed share of refunds credited to the carrier account. Its published Standard, Volume and Enterprise tiers list shares of 50%, 40% and 35% respectively as reviewed November 6, 2026. The provider says the exact tier is confirmed in writing based on shipping spend. The pricing page states there is no monthly subscription, setup fee or minimum for the published model.

The dashboard is a useful place to test the fee relationship. Ask to see the original issue, the credit and the fee line. If a credited item is later reversed, request the contract language governing whether and when the corresponding fee is adjusted.

Worked example (hypothetical)

A hypothetical shipper with several accounts wants to confirm the fee when a credit posts after month-end. It asks to see the credited amount, provider fee and underlying case ID on the same reconciliation.

Questions to ask

  • Which accounts and issue categories are included?
  • How is a later reversal treated?
  • Which reporting features are available at the quoted tier?
